The Prayer

"Take, O "Mistress/Master",

into Thy hands all my liberty,

my memory,

my understanding,

and my will.

All that I have and possess,

Thou has given it to me.

I restore myself to Thee,

and surrender it

that Thou mayest use of it

in accordance with Thy superior will.

Give me Thy love,

Thy pleasure,

Thy watchful eye,

and Thy graces.

With them I am rich enough

and desire nothing more.
